Bricsys to end Volume Licensing

Bricsys have recently made the following announcement regarding the future of BricsCAD Volume licenses.

Transition from Volume Licensing

BricsCAD Volume Licenses were originally introduced to support node-locked licensing for enterprise customers. While this model worked well in traditional office environments, today's flexible and distributed workplaces benefit far more from our
Single and Network license options, which are easier to manage and ensure compliance.

As a result, sales of new BricsCAD Volume Licenses will end on January 1, 2026. We will continue to accept Maintenance Renewals for existing Volume Licenses for the foreseeable future.

Through December 31, 2025, you can still:

  • Upgrade old Volume Licenses to V26 and get current.
  • Purchase additional Volume Licenses to meet user needs.
  • Renew Volume Subscriptions maximum 3 months before their expiration date.

Beginning January 1, 2026, you will no longer be able to:

  • Upgrade old Volume Licenses to the current version (though you may continue using them).
  • Purchase additional Volume Licenses (Single or Network Licenses will be required).
  • Renew Volume Subscriptions (Single or Network Subscriptions will be required).

Are you a Volume license holder?

If you're an existing BricsCAD Volume license holder, then please contact us to discuss your requirements. We can provide options around transitioning to other license types, as well as your renewal options.

For clients with older Volume licenses we recommend that you consider taking advantage of the current upgrade promotion to bring your license up to date.
