It is an optional annual fee that keeps your perpetual license up to date with all BricsCAD product releases and more. It is the most cost-effective way to stay current with newly released product features and workflows.
Below is a little about who we are and our process when your maintenance is up for renewal.
CAD Concepts is based in Auckland, New Zealand and is the NZ reseller for BricsCAD. Our pricing is the same as Bricsys, and we are a NZ registered company, compliant with all NZ tax laws. We also provide training and support if you need it, either remotely or in person.
You can expect to get an email from us two months before your current maintenance is due to expire. So, if your maintenance renewal is due at the end of November, a renewal request email will arrive in your inbox towards the end of September. Payment is then due on the 20th October.
We find this process gives our clients enough time to renew their maintenance before the expiry date and allows time to consider other options that may suit their requirements better moving forward.
You may also receive Bricsys automated emails, any time from 90 days before your maintenance renewal is due. We appreciate this can create confusion, hence why I wanted to explain in more detail the CAD Concepts process.
If you have questions or would like to take out maintenance, get in touch to find out how to upgrade and get the benefits, which include product updates, major BricsCAD software releases and priority product support.
