Putting the Engine into Engineer
Companies with multiple users often use profiles to assist in configuring Bricscads many options. This batch file will automatically import a profile on a users machine, and set it to be current. Note you can use the same technique with AutoCAD, or modify to provide AutoCAD LT users a way of having different profiles.

This is a list of some applications that you may find useful to use in conjunction with CAD. Note this is given as an example of what is available out there. You of course need to make your own decision on there suitability to your needs.
We often get asked where to look for Blocks (symbols) to use in Bricscad. There are thousands of symbol libraries available on the internet, some are free, others aren’t. examples are:
There is a growing amount of information out there providing support for Bricscad, a few of which are listed below. Need more hands on help? Take a look at our Training options, or contact us for tailored support package.
Sample CAD library for Bricscad. An example of a simple CAD library suitable for Bricscad. This library can also be used with AutoCAD. Includes A1, A3, and A4 templates, menu, scripts, lisp routines, line types, and some sample blocks. This library includes setup for V11 and V12 of Bricscad.
Query Object. Returns details on the selected objects in DXF code format. Useful in the development of lisp routines.
Viewport Rotate. Allows you to rotate the view point of selected paper space viewports. Note in AutoCAD you can choose whether to rotate the view with the viewport.
Toggle Background Colour. Toggles the background colour between black and white. Note this routine will only work in Bricscad.
Bearing Distance. Places Bearing & Distance text on selected lines and polylines. If you use this routine inside a paper space viewport it will automatically work out the correct text height based on the viewports scale factor (Bricscad V12 currently doesn't support annotative text).
